Like I've said many, many times before... Snape is my favorite character and everyone here knows it. XD

My favorite character is Luna, because she is funny and carefree.

Snape, without a doubt, has some of the best little moments in the movies. Portrayed just slightly different in the books.
My other favorite, just from the movies.. would be Filch. "got to have your wits about ya....." "oh get ahold of yourself man" etc etc

Haha. Yes, I really, really like Snape. I've explained it countless times, but since I haven't said anything to you, I'll do it now. I absolutely detested Snape all through the books. Then when he died, I was SO happy. Then I read the memory chapter, and I cried. I felt so awful for hating him that I had to put the book down and cry. Ever since, he's been my favorite character.

A friend of mine and myself had the same problem. We would have a favourite character that we would adore, and then they would get killed (except for a few). She said we had been jinxed!
My favourites were Mad-Eye Moody, Lupin, Sirius, The Twins, Draco, Dumbledore, and Snape. But my favourite (at the moment anyway) would be Sirius Black.

I've liked Snape since the beginning, but I always ALWAYS fall for the tragic, morally "gray" characters. Thus, my favorite characters often end up dying. I don't typically like the hero characters. They are too obvious... they will always save the day, even at the expense of using their brains. IE they jump in front of a flying bullet... major pet peeve of mine. It's a pet peeve, because it's only the gryffindor types and such actions that are regarded as noble. In most stories, thinking isn't considered a great trait to have...
In the heroes of Harry Potter - out of the trio - the only character I like is Hermione, but even she gets under my skin sometimes with her know-it-all attitude. She's smart and knowledgeable, which I like, but even she doesn't think for herself that much (she relies on books). I don't care for any of the Weasleys....

I'm usually not a huge fan of the hero characters, but I do sometimes get caught fanning over one or two.
From the three, I liked Harry and Ron. Over time however, I leaned more towards Ron's side then Harry's.

My favorite character is probably Neville. I also really like the Weasley twins and Professor McGonagall.

At first I wasn't too fond of Neville, but he grew on me. I love the Twins! My friend and I were obsessed with them at one point, so...I'll just leave it at that. And Professor McGonagall is pretty darn cool.

I think a year 7 from Neville's POV would be as good as Harry's. He really grew up in there, kinda cool considering we only got a few pages of him.
Professor McGonagal is pretty awesome head/teacher.

I agree, I would have liked to have read more about Neville. He really grew-up in the last few years. *wipes away a tear* Oh, how they grow.

I know. Aw. I miss little Harry. Little Harry was sweet, but then he grew up to be kinda close minded and impulsive. I think it would have done well in Slytherin. Little Ron was sweet too... before he got so moody and jealous.

Little Harry is adorable! I was watching something the other day and a commercial came up showing movies on another channel. One of them was the first Harry Potter, he was so sweet and cute.

I like Harry at all ages. he's good character but expected of a hero character. I like Ron more because he has a funny side which makes him seem different. Hermione too because it shows girls can have brains and still be worth.
