Due to confusion in the past, the following are guidelines in order for us to stay organized.
The Ten Guidelines for Reporting Points:
1. There are now four threads to report points in: one thread for each house. Report points accordingly.
2. Post only one set of points per line. Example:
3. When possible, lump points together. Example:
4. Different lines should be used when the points are given for different reasons.
EXAMPLE:
+5 points to Slytherin for Taco's Herbology assignment
+10 points to Slytherin to Euca winning "post to 1000"
5. If you have posted a large amount of points for different reasons please give a total at the end. Example:
+10 points to Hufflepuff for Crystall's and Nio's Herbology assignments
+20 points to Hufflepuff to Nio winning "post to 1000"
+5 points to Hufflepuff for Crystall winning the "Quote Contest"
+10 points to Hufflepuff for Crystall winning the Writing Contest
+5 points to Hufflepuff for Nio winning Wink Murder
+2 points to Hufflepuff because Crystall helped me clean out the great hall
Total points to Hufflepuff: 52 points
6. Adding up house points (outside your own post) is limited to the four HOHs (Sadira, Crystall, Hedwig, Euca) and myself (Jewel Leigh) and Lady Voldmort. Please, no one else add up and post totals without permission.
7. When Totaling Points, please total the points from each house at the same time. To do that, post "Points Counted Until Here" in EACH thread after you have counted up the points (from there until the last time someone counted). Don't edit someone else's post to write "counted until here"), but make sure it is CLEARLY noted in a separate post that points are counted. We do not want any points to be accidentally counted twice.
8. Once counted, add the new points you added up to the total currently in the thread "Hourglass Points" (IE add the 25 new points you counted for Ravenclaw to their already sum of 55 points for a new total of 80).
9. Post Date when you have last added to the hourglass points.
10. The main hourglasses in the Great Hall can only be added to by myself (Jewel Leigh) and Euca. The reason for that is because they are somewhat finicky. If we have disappeared, be sure to track us down.

- INSTEAD: +15 points to Ravenclaw for carma's charm assignment
