Hey everyone! :)
This week your prompt is: Holiday
Remember to write exactly 100 words - no more, no less, keep your drabbles PG-13, spell-check before you post, and ensure that your drabbles take place in the HP Universe, though they may be as AU as you want.
Good luck!

He walked around the small town of Godric’s Hollow, heading to the graveyard. He opened the small gate, looking for the grave. He felt a tear slip from his eyes, but he quickly wiped it away. It was Christmas, and people are supposed to be happy on Christmas, but how could one be happy when they had to spend Christmas alone for sixteen years? He found the grave, and looked at the engraving on the tombstone, “Here lies Lily Potter, beloved mother, wife and friend.”. Yes, Lily was loved by many, but no person loved her more than Severus Snape.

Ron loved the holidays. They brought the sound of laughter and Mum’s playful nagging, the smell of her delicious cooking, and the promise of another year full of challenges.
This summer, though, the laughter was lost in their cries as they mourned Fred’s death. Their once warm and welcoming home was now a sad house, with windows clouded by grief, and shadowy corners that hid memories of a happy family.
He faced the challenge of dealing with his grief and putting on a brave face; of surviving each day. Never had he waited so eagerly for the holidays to end.

God, he needed a holiday. Just one day off would suffice. Anything at all to get away from those spoiled pureblood brats that were in his former House would be a blessing. It seemed like every day one of them would come running to him to complain about some Gryffindor. Snape was tired of listening to it. He'd always hated teaching. Why Dumbledore pulled him in each year was lost to him. This year though seemed like the worst school year ever. Never in his god-given life had he wished for the holiday's to come more than he did now.
